Elizabeth “Liz” Tackett

Elizabeth Tackett, retired director of the Buffalo Creek Memorial Library where I continue to work part time, where I do community outreach and children’s programs I became involved in drug abuse education for children by teaching “Too Good For Drugs” to elementary children over 10 years ago and was then appointed to the board of directors for the PIECES drug abuse prevention coalition which has now joined with the LCPC. I also serve on the board of directors of the Logan County Family Resource Network. I live in the Man area and am active in many organizations for the betterment of our communities. I am the President of the Man Lions Club whose motto is “We Serve”, member of the Hemlock Hills Garden Club, START, and serve on the advisory board for the Logan County WVU Extension Service. I am also a member of the Mallory Church of God.
