Paul “PD” Clemens

My name is Paul Clemens and I am a Board Member for the Logan County Prevention Coalition.  I have been in law enforcement/corrections for 47 years having retired as a Major in charge of Field Services with the West Virginia State Police, served as the Chief Deputy of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department, served as the Assistant Supernatant of the Donald R. Kuhn Juvenile Center, security for the West Virginia Supreme Court, an investigator for the West Virginia Insurance Commission, Chief of Police for the City of Logan and am currently the Sheriff of Logan County.  I joined the board of this organization because I care about the people in our community.  I believe in prevention and assisting those who have a substance abuse disorder.  Due to my extensive background in law enforcement, I have seen the harm that drug usage has caused in families as well as the communities.
